Why we support your project<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Our purpose\nin support of young filmmakers, directors and documentarists from all over the\nworld is clearly stated in \u2026 But our specific purpose, in contribution part, is\nto support independent films which try to reveal the untold humanitarian and\nphilanthropic facts in production\nphase.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Many young\nfilmmakers and documentarists are keen on working on humanitarian subjects. They\nlike the subjects of human rights and its difficulties. However, the production\nand the contribution of such works are very different. Therefore, many of these\nyoung filmmakers lose their hope and quit, even before starting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Increasing\nthe number of filmmakers working on humanity and philanthropic subjects is one\nof our purposes. The most important factor to reach this goal is supporting the\nactivities of such filmmakers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Having this\naim in our mind, our institute supports young independent filmmakers from all\naround the world in any phase; research, pre-production, writing story and\nscript, production, distribution and broadcast.  We will even participate in\nproduction phase.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 The only difference between our institute and other institutes is\nthat we believe all the 100% of financial benefit belongs to the\nfilmmaker and our contribution is only for our humanitarian goals. This matter is only about our\ncontribution affairs, so our projects would not be included.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What projects we support <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Currently,\naccording to reports by Human Rights Watch form all around the world, human\nrights are being violated for various political or economic or social reasons. Many governments\ncause injustice and inequity to their nations, and oppress them, neglecting the\nUniversal Declaration of Human Rights and their international commitments in\nthe Human Rights Council and the United Nations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Generally, whatever violates basic rights of a human being\nis important to us and needs to be depicted. We also value any philanthropic act\ndone by any international organizations, NGOs, youth groups or other groups of\npeople. Therefore we will try to help these people broadcast their works.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We will support long-time, middle-time or short\ndocumentaries, dramas or animations in different phases of production,\nbroadcasting and distribution provided that they are based on true stories and\nthe subject is related to humanity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The main condition of our support and contribution is the director or\ndocumentarist or filmmaker\u2019s age. Until 2016 our priority will be artists of 18\nto 30-year-old. If we receive contribution requests from artists of higher ages,\na team of contribution members and human rights activists will discuss the\nmatter and find a way to support the project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Prison, innocent\nprisoners, secret prisons, violation of prisoners rights<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Political prisoners,\npolitical activities, pressure on political activists by security forces<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Anti-human acts of\ndictatorial regimes<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Hanging, stoning to\ndeath, mutilation<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Trading human beings or\ntheir body organs<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Forcing children or\nyoung adults to marry<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Trading drugs and\nweapons<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Mass destruction\nweapons, chemical, uranium, phosphorous, atomic<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Immigration and asylum seekers<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Massacre\nfor beliefs; religious, ethnic, tribal, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Rights violations and disrespect of religions<\/p>\n\n\n\n

–\nRegional or rural\ngovernments and violations of human rights done by these governments<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How we support your project<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

International Institute of Humanity Film supports films with\nthe particular subject of humanity and human rights. Humanity Film support will\nbe in the following areas: financial,\nadministrative, legal, facilities, research\nand advertising. Humanity\nFilm will also hire staff, skillful in different fields related to cinema for\nfilmmakers and their projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Quality in contribution\nand accomplishment has always been a basic principle for us. We believe that\nfilms about humanity must meet international standards. Audio and visual\nquality must be high to respect all the viewers rights, therefore we try to use\nthe best facilities and equipment and also we will employ skillful staff. We\nwill consult with the best artistic and\ncultural advisors to participate in the projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Procedures of support and contribution<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. The\ndirectors must send a summary of their plan including the documents and\nresearch results to the contribution part. The directors must state their\nrequest and the request must be clear. Along with the request the director\nshould send a resume in one page.<\/li>
  2. There\nmust be at least 3 film related to humanity in the directors\u2019 resume.<\/li>
  3. Our priority is to cooperate with the\ndirector, if producers wish to receive contribution; they must send a complete\nand fully detailed list of their past activities including information about their previous sponsors\nto us. If the board of contribution agrees, their projects will be supported.\nProvided that the introduced directors meet out requirements.<\/li>
  4. After reading the plans and the resumes, if the\nboard of contribution needs to watch their previous films, the directors\nwill be asked to upload two copies of their works within 10 to 15 days. The\nfilms format should be 720*576 and with logo (only for viewing).<\/li>
  5. After declaration of the board of contribution,\nthe directors should send the main plan, the main summary and the complete\nscript along with the production plans in 14 working weeks.
    \nIf the directors are in a short space of time because of a sudden event or crisis, it should be stated in a separate\nemail.<\/li>
  6. In case of agreement, the board of contribution\nwill declare the kind of contribution and financial conditions in order to sign\na contract.<\/li>
  7. In case of agreement, the board of contribution will send\nforms of moral and professional commitment to the directors and producers to be\nsigned legally and sent to the institute.<\/li>
  8. If, during the production, any material (picture, sound, photo, graphic\nfile, music, plan, idea and etc.) is proved to be taken without legal\npermission or copyright from the owner(s), this institute will have the right\nto terminate the contract in presence of its lawyer and even in absence of directors or producers. If it is proved after the\nproduction, the institute can compensate the owners\u2019 rights from the project\nincome. The institute can also terminate the contract in case the producers or\ndirectors receive any kind of support from governmental organizations or\ninstitutes<\/li>
  9.  This institute will only contribute films about\nreal human or anti-human events.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    By the founder\u2019s\ndecision, this institute will not support the following plans:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Plans that analyze the event<\/li>
    2. Plans that insult or slander any person or groups<\/li>
    3. Plans that support of a particular\nperson or group, or\nadvertise a particular government<\/li>
    4. Plans that intend to\nsow division and disturb\npeace and friendship<\/li>
    5. Plans that intentionally or unintentionally\nnarrate another event<\/li>
    6. Plans that advertise a particular company or brand<\/li>
    7. Plans that include an insult to the divine in the\ntheme or plot of the film <\/li>
    8. Plans that insult a particular country, race or\nbelief<\/li>
    9. Plans that do not observe the basic principles of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      What we do\nin support and contribution of projects:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      • Contribution in research, writing the plan or the\nscript<\/li>
      • Contribution in pre-production phase<\/li>
      • Contribution in providing facilities and equipment\nof pre-production<\/li>
      • Contribution in providing facilities and equipment\nof production<\/li>
      • Contribution in editing, sound editing, graphic box<\/li>
